One of our core activities at VDB Dollwin is the production of follow-on cutting and bending tools, cutting and bending dies and punching equipment for ferrous and non-ferrous components both large and small.

These dies are used for  cardboard tubes,  bedding trays/marketing trays/seed & propagation trays and aluminium structural shapes.

Below you find some examples for tools to form very thin materials and for the lighting industry.

Lighting Industry
VDB Dollwin specialises in the production of dies and production tools for the forming of thin aluminium and steel for the lighting industry.
Our product portfolio not only contains comprehensive installations for the production of the laminates, side screens, infill plates and end laminates, but also an entire series of foil strippers. These are used either before or after bending.

Forming from very thin materials

VDB Dollwin specialises in the production of production tools for the forming of thin high-gloss aluminium (0.3mm), sprung coiled steel for the lighting and spring industries and tools for the processing of thin pre-coated coiled steel.

We have years of experience in the production of these types of tool, for which specific characteristics are a requirement. One of the key aspects in this area relates to the use of adjustable tools for the processing of high-gloss aluminium without foil and the processing of materials that are characterised by a high degree of springback.
Our experience also extends to the processing of thin pre-coated coiled steel, whilst ensuring that the coating remains undamaged.
